Clensh - WASHING MACHINE CLEANER PRO

That "Wet Dog" Smell Isn't Your Dog. It's Your Washing Machine.

The honest, UK-made cleaning tablet for homes with shedding pets. It clears the hidden fur, grease and odour deep inside your drum, and helps shift the limescale hard water leaves behind. One tab, once a month.

Best Suited For

Dog and cat homes Shedding breeds (husky, cockapoo, lab) Front-loaders that smell musty Fur on "clean" washing Hard-water areas Anyone tired of overpriced mystery tablets
Clears the hidden fur Breaks down the oily film behind the seal and inside the drum so trapped hair flushes out instead of ending up back on your washing.
Kills the musty smell at the source Deals with the build-up that causes the "wet dog" smell, so your towels and bedding come out actually fresh, not masked with fragrance.
Helps shift limescale The citric-acid action helps clear and limit the limescale furring up your heating element. One tab handles the fur and the hard water your kettle already warned you about.
Gentle on your machine No bleach, fragrance-free, and safe for the seals on Bosch, Hotpoint, Beko, AEG, Miele, Samsung and LG machines.
1
Drop It In The Drum

Put one tablet straight into the empty drum, not the detergent drawer. This is the step most people get wrong, and it's the one that matters most. In the drawer, half the tab never reaches the gunk it's meant to clear

2
Run It Hot

Start a hot wash or your machine's drum-clean cycle with nothing else inside. The tablet breaks down the greasy film behind the seal and inside the drum, so the trapped fur and build-up let go and flush away.

3
Wipe And Breathe It In

Give the rubber seal a quick wipe when the cycle ends, and leave the door open to air. Your first clean may stir up what's been hiding in there, so the real freshness lands by the second one. After that, one tab a month keeps the fur, smell and limescale from coming back.

See it in action

Our Clensh Washing Machine Cleaner is made for homes where a shedding dog or cat does the laundry harder than you do.

Here's the thing nobody tells you. Pet hair doesn't stick to your drum on its own. Body oils and detergent scum build up into a greasy film, and that film acts like glue. It traps fur, holds damp, and slowly turns into the "wet dog" smell you stop noticing but your visitors don't.

Most washer tablets just deodorise. They cover the smell for a week, then it's back, and the fur is still ringed around the seal.

This tablet breaks down the film itself. Once the glue is gone, the trapped hair lets go and flushes out instead of redepositing on your next wash. We won't tell you it dissolves pet hair, because nothing in a normal wash does. We dissolve the gunk that holds it, which is the part that actually fixes the problem.

It does three jobs in one tab. It clears the hidden fur and grease behind the seal, it kills the musty smell at the source instead of masking it, and the citric-acid action helps shift the limescale furring up your heating element. That last one matters if you're in a hard-water area and you've seen what it does to your kettle.

No bleach. Fragrance-free. Safe on the seals of Bosch, Hotpoint, Beko, AEG, Miele, Samsung and LG.

One tab in the drum, once a month. That's the whole routine.

  • Clears the hidden fur and grease behind the rubber seal, so it stops ending up back on your "clean" washing
  • Kills the musty "wet dog" smell at the source instead of masking it with fragrance
  • Helps shift the limescale furring up your heating element, which matters in hard-water areas
  • No bleach, fragrance-free, and gentle on your machine's seals
  • Safe for Bosch, Hotpoint, Beko, AEG, Miele, Samsung and LG machines
  • One tab in the drum, once a month. Fur, smell and limescale handled in one step.

Drop one tablet straight into the empty drum, not the detergent drawer. In the drawer, half of it never reaches the gunk it's meant to clear. Run a hot wash or your machine's drum-clean cycle with nothing else inside.

As it works, the tablet breaks down the greasy film that builds up behind the seal and inside the drum. That film is what glues pet hair in place and holds the damp that turns into the musty smell. Once it breaks down, the trapped fur and build-up let go and flush out instead of redepositing on your next load. The citric-acid action works on the limescale at the same time, helping clear what's furring up your heating element.

When the cycle ends, give the rubber seal a quick wipe and leave the door open to air out. Your first clean may stir up what's been sitting in there, so the real freshness lands by the second one. After that, one tab a month keeps the fur, smell and limescale from coming back.

Effervescent cleaning tablets in a recyclable tub. One tab per wash, used once a month, so a 12-pack lasts a full year at that cadence. If you run it fortnightly on a heavy-shedding home, it's closer to six months. We'd rather tell you that straight than sell you a "year's supply" that quietly runs out early.

No bleach. Fragrance-free. Safe on rubber seals and gentle on your machine. Made in the UK, with real support if anything goes wrong and a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Homes with a shedding dog or cat, where the washing comes out with more hair than it went in. Front-loaders that smell musty even when empty. The black gunk and fur ringed around the rubber seal that nothing else seems to touch. Hard-water areas where you worry the limescale furring up your kettle is doing the same to your machine. Anyone tired of guessing which of these tablets actually works and which is the same cheap one at five times the price. Best for routine monthly upkeep on a normally-used machine. If yours is heavily blocked or already faulty, this is upkeep, not a repair, so sort the fault first.

Most washer tablets make you choose. Cheap and anonymous, or a trusted name that was never made for pet homes. This one is built for the actual problem: the fur, the smell, and the limescale, in one tab you drop in once a month. No bleach, no fragrance, no fake "miracle." Just the greasy film cleared out so your washing comes out fresh and your machine keeps running. Backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee. If it doesn't work for you, we refund you and tell you honestly what might.

Drop. Run. Wipe.

No complicated routines. Just one tab in the drum, one hot cycle, and a quick wipe of the seal when it's done.

Step 1: Drop

Step 1: Drop

Place one tablet directly into the empty drum. Not the drawer. The drawer means half the tablet never reaches the build-up it's meant to clear. Nothing else in the machine.

Step 2: Run

Step 2: Run

Start a hot wash or your machine's drum-clean cycle. Leave it to run. The tablet works through the cycle, breaking down the greasy film, clearing the trapped fur and lifting the build-up that causes the smell.

Step 3: Wipe and Air

Step 3: Wipe and Air

When the cycle ends, wipe around the rubber seal with a dry cloth and leave the door open. That's it. Do this once a month and the fur, smell and limescale don't get a chance to come back.

WHY PET OWNERS SWITCH TO CLENSH

Most pet washer tablets are the same white-label tablet in different boxes, sold on one promise: "dissolves pet hair." That claim is physically not what happens. Here is what Clensh actually does differently.

Clensh® Others
Enzymes digest the biofilm and sebum that cause the smell at the source
×
Targets pet-specific soils: dander (protein), sebum (oil), keratin
×
Removes the biofilm reservoir that re-deposits grime and hair back onto your "clean" washing
×
Fragrance-free: nothing perfumed left on the bedding your pet sleeps on
×
Tells you up front that the first clean may stir up what's been hiding, so you know it's working
×
30-day money-back guarantee

Saved me from buying a new washing machine

I hope people read this review, in addition to being very happy with the product I have some washer-related tips that may help with the use of this product. I was getting flecks of grime-looking stuff on my clothes when I took them out of the washer, particularly noticeable on whites. The washer isn't brand-new, but it's only maybe 8 years old and is an LG and in great shape an well cared for. I didn't know if the stuff was mold/mildew or if it was maybe like grease from the motor or what. If I was careful, I could kind of lift/flick it off the clothes. But if not, it kind of smeared it into the fabric. No one washes their clothes to get them dirtier, so I didn't know what to do besides buy a new washer. Before I did, somehow I got the idea to search for washer cleaner and ended up here. I threw in a tablet and did the tub clean mode, but next wash, same thing (keep reading b/c this isn't the product's fault). I threw in several tablets, same thing. So I decided to monitor the process. What I found was, at least with my washing machine, the "Tub Clean" mode is just to clean the very bottom of the tub - it only filled with like 2" of water. Since the washing machine uses sensors to decide how to fill the tub, I was really at a loss for how to get it to fill the drum with water, which I needed to do b/c it was clear that the grime was coming from the little holes on the side of the drum during the spin cycle. After being on the phone with the manufacturer's support for awhile and trying all kinds of things, I was eventually told that there was no way to get the tub to fill with more water. WRONG. I ended up setting it on bulky/bedding with hot water, and ran it with nothing in it until the water stopped. At that point, I paused the cycle, then I turned the washer off and unplugged it, waited a minute, turned it back on, and did it again. At this point, the washer took the weight of the water in the washer to be clothes, and filled the drum pretty much the rest of the way. I shut it off again, and when I turned it back on again, I then put it in Tub Clean mode and added a few of these tablets. Stopped by to look about 45 minutes later and it looked like paper mache had dissolved in the washer. there was all of this floating shmeg in the drum. The issue at that point is, how do you make sure that it actually drains out with the water, and doesn't just settle only to come back again the next time? Especially since I had to do this like a dozen times. So I got a mesh strainer and used it like a pool skimmer and pulled out and dumped wave after wave of this gross stuff. When the cycle was over, I did this whole thing again. Again, tons of crap floating. I don't know that you need to skim it out like I did, and it probably depends on the washer. But I know that if I didn't, every time I would be wondering if it was the same grossness as last time, or new stuff, so by removing it myself, I KNEW that stuff was out. I will say I went through almost the whole box over the course of a week doing this exercise, even though it says 'a year's supply' - it's a year's supply if you run this once a week or twice a month or whatever as a preventative, which I will now do. What I will also tell you is that $30 or whatever it was for what was essentially a 1-time use was also about $800 less than buying a new washer. Lastly, while many products on amazon arrive with a note offering to pay you for a positive review, this was not one. I took the time to write this because it helped me, hopefully it can help you, and its a small business and hopefully sharing this truth helps them.

Highly recommend....

We breed dogs and just finished a litter of pups, we wash dog blankets twice a day. Our washer is gross!!! Hair sludge etc. you can't even imagine how bad. I tried this, figuring it wouldn't work. I WAS WRONG!!! It is amazing. Actually works. Now too be fair, I doubled the dose and washed 3 washer cycles, but we were extremely icky. The picture is after the second. The hair is gone, sludge gone. Still working on mold on rim but that is better two. I will keep using. It's great

Works! Nasty smell gone!

Wow this definitely works! Our washer had a really musty nasty smell when the water was running. We had to use more detergent to get our clothes smelling good. Finally said enough and got this. It works! Only used one and the smell was gone. Now I'm not wasting detergent and don't think we need to replace our washer as I thought. This will definitely last a year of used twice a month. My clothes smell clean and fresh. It was easy to use and packaged money. Would buy again.

My washing machine thanks you.

I love this cleaner for washing machines, I have used it for years and it is very effective. Remove all waste from washing products that are left on the walls of the washing machine and eliminate the smell of moisture. I usually use it once or twice a month and only use one capsule.

Awesome product

these are great. When we moved, we kept our top load washing machine in storage for a couple of months -when we hooked it back up, there was all kinds of residue in the tub after we would run the washer. We did a couple of cycles utilizing these and problem gone. They work really good. Now we just run one once a month on the Tub clean cycle and keeps the machine clean.

The best washer cleaning product on the market.

Received my order today and used immediately. These work so well, I ran a cleaning cycle with one tablet and there was immediate results. Totally took away the stagnant smell and my washer drum is sparkling clean again. Highly recommended these, far superior to any other brand in the big supermarkets and a great price. What made it even better, was the hand written note thanking me for buying from a family run business. I will certainly be reordering for as long as I own a washing machine! Thanks, Jess & family.

Get it !! it works !!

These worked really well for freshening up my washing machine. After running a cleaning cycle, my washer smelled noticeably cleaner and fresher. Super easy to use, and I like that the tablets dissolve well without leaving any residue behind. I’ve started using them regularly as part of my washer maintenance, especially with a front-load machine. Definitely helped get rid of that stale washing machine smell. I love that they are individually wrapped, so you can easily store them in a container
